"Sick" must be the new "Cool"

I was at the mall today. I was in Balance and
a group of teenage boys passed me and I heard
one of them say, "Those chairs are sick!"

Then a little later a guy stopped me to ask
me about it. He was in his late teens or early
20s I'd guess. He said, "That is sick!"

LOL!

In the link you provided, I found this quote amusing:

I find it utterly disappointing that children today are unable to complete a sentance using proper vocabulary.

What is the world coming to. I say we should bring back the 1950's way of teaching these children, discipline in the schools and proper grammar being taught. I fear a world where the children are too stupid to become teachers and doctors.

Last I knew it was "sweeeeet", but my kids are probably getting dated themselves now. LOL.

I have loved reading your blog. Sorry I know this comment has nothing to do with "sick", but I do not know how to post a general comment or question. I got my iBot about the same time he did thanks to some very generous and well-off relatives. For the most part, I love it! We are now in the process of trying to find a converted minivan in order to transport the iBot. I would love your input. Do you drive? Do you drive while seated in the iBot? How do you tie-down the iBot? What kind of van do you have? Would you recommend it? How in the world do I post a comment so that you can get back to me without me putting my name and e-mail address out there for the whole world to see? Until I figure that out, keep iBotting away!

OK I hate to admit it but I was out shopping with my boys and my youngest (5) had a conversation with his dad, when it ended they came over to me and my other half said I think those trousers are sick! lo and behold it's crossed the pond! OMG!

LOL! That is so funny!

My daughter and I have been using the word a bit since that day. In a goofing around sort of way.
