The bot is working again. Turns out it was
only the charger. Woo-hoo! The new charger
arrived yesterday morning and by the afternoon
I was botting again.

What's an iBOT? It's a revolutionary Mobility System invented by Dean Kamen. Kamen also invented the more widely known Segway. The iBOT is unlike any other wheelchair. Its unique functions allow me to go places I've never been before, and do things I've never done before.

That is great it was only the charger. Getting back to the new seating and foot rest you called and they told you it was 4,500 for the unit. Did they say anything about a discount for current owners. You would think they would have considering that you pay 26,000 plus another 4,500 for a total of 30,500. So people getting new ibot spends the 26,000 for the new upgrade. Just wondering what you think about this.
Interesting. I hadn't thought about that.
No, they didn't say anything about a discount for current iBOT users. I know that when they came out with the iBOT 4000, they **gave** all the iBOT 3000 owners the new 4000. Back then there were probably only a hundred or so of them though.
I just called IT. They said the price for a new iBOT is $26,100. I asked her to verify the cost of the new seating system, and she said she didn't know.
I also asked her if she could tell me how many iBOTs have been sold. She said she didn't know, and even if she did, she believed she wasn't allowed to tell me anyway.
I'm guessing there have been around 500 sold at this point.
